The King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) Africa Prize 2023–2024 is now accepting applications. The KBF Africa Prize honors African organizations that provide a sustained improvement to the lives of Africans.

It gives special consideration to projects that transformatively address African problems, are robust and adaptive in a setting that is continually changing, have a long-term outlook, and enable people to take control of their own destiny. Every alternate year, the KBF Africa Prize is given out. It aims to attract attention to the numerous inspiring tales, difficulties, and achievements coming from the African continent.

Benefits:

  • The prize has a monetary value of €200,000.
  • Beyond its monetary value, it offers its laureates unique opportunities to increase their
    visibility and promote their cause to international audiences.

Eligibility:

  • The KBF Africa Prize rewards organisations which have been established in Africa, by
    Africans and which are managed and led by Africans.
  • The Prize pays particular attention to initiatives that tackle challenges in Africa in
    transformative ways, which are resilient and adaptable in a constantly changing context,
    which have a long-term vision, and which empower people to take their future into their
    own hands.

Application:

Submit your application by March 16, 2023. When your application has been fully completed, send it in.
