In 2024, the Korean government plans to welcome 2,200 international students to the Global Korea Scholarship program for graduate degrees. Applicants must apply either to a Korean Embassy where they have citizenship (embassy track) or directly to one of the recognized institutions (university track). To inquire about application submission (deadline, method, needed papers, authentication, translation certificate, etc.), please contact the embassy or university directly, since they will perform the first round of selection.
Program Detail:
1 year of Korean language program
- Master’s Degree: 2 years of degree program
- Doctoral Degree 3 years of degree program
- Research Program: 6 months or 1 year
Selection Criteria:
- Interviews will be held through Zoom due course with a limited number of applicants who have met the application deadline and passed through the documentation review.
- It is ki ndly noted that those who fail to meet one of the qualifications set forth in the Applications Guideline will be automatically disqualified.
