The RSTMH Early Career Grants Programme 2024

The RSTMH Early Career Grants Programme is presently accepting applications. The Programme awards around 200 grants annually to early-career researchers in tropical medicine and global health.
The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) Early Career Grants support persons who have never obtained a research grant of £5,000 or more in their own name and are able to plan and complete their first research project.

Eligibility:

The following requirements must be fulfilled for the RSTMH Early Career Grants Programme:

  • Early career researchers and global health professionals based anywhere in the world
  • Applicants who have not had research funding in their own name before
  • Project should take up to one year to be completed and should start within 3 months of receiving funding.
