Schools are to take the lead in educating children about the need of safeguarding freshwater and seas through ProBleu funding. ProBleu will provide funding for innovative initiatives to at least 100 schools over the course of three years. Up to 10,000 euros can be awarded to schools for up to a year-long project. The ProBleu financing project assists elementary and secondary schools in their vital role as educators of the next generation on blue sustainability and the preservation of freshwater and marine environments. ProBleu will make a number of calls available on its website over the course of three years, providing funding to enable at least 100 schools to develop a variety of instructional and citizen science initiatives.
Educational institutions are invited to seek grants of up to 10,000 euros, supporting projects that can extend for up to 11 months. Join us on this journey towards a brighter, more sustainable future, inspired by the beauty of our blue planet.
Eligibility:
- This call is open to primary and secondary-level schools in the EU-27 Member States and associated countries. Consult the call bases of the call to see if your country is one of them.
- While grants are awarded to schools as legal entities, active participation from students, teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders is encouraged.
- Projects should promote engagement in Blue Sustainability topics, fostering collaboration among various stakeholders, seeking partnerships with other schools, and ensuring equal opportunities for all participants.
