Joining one of our business lines in Banking, Markets, Operations, Finance, or Technology as a 2025 Jumpstart Intern at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) will expose you to a top-tier organization in the South African franchise. You will also have the chance to be mentored by our professionals and leaders in the local and global business.
With a potential for extension until December 2026, the program will have its headquarters in Johannesburg and run from January 2025 to December 2025. Shortlisted candidates for the 2025 Jumpstart Internship Program will be required to successfully complete the 3-week Winter Internship Program during the 2024 winter university vacation period (1 July 2024 – 19 July 2024).
Eligibility:
- Performs tasks and receives training depending on the placement area
- Actively participates in projects from starting point up to completion, and provides support to tasks relating to the aligned placement area
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Eligibility to work in South Africa
- Final year Bachelor’s degree with sound academic results (all faculties welcome)
- Fluency in English
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail, logical, and well organised
- Strong analytical and management skills, and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
