Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) Prize for Innovation Competition

The Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) Prize for Innovation Competition is now accepting applications for its third season.The FMN Prize for Innovation project was created to support fresh perspectives and inventions in the food and agro-allied industries in Nigeria and around the continent, and to investigate how they could influence and facilitate the development of a sustainable food system in Nigeria.

Finding innovators in the food and agro-allied sectors who are actively and creatively advancing Nigeria’s achievement of food self-sufficiency will be the main goal of the third season of FMN – PFI. The Group, working with the PFI management team, will evaluate, test, and assess the procedures these players use. They will also offer winning concepts and content along with the tools and assistance required to gradually increase their company’s sustainability.

Eligibility:

  • The Prize is open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 years or over except employees of the organizer and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  • Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Awards/Mode of Entry:

Are you a registered food or agro-allied business in Nigeria or you are a student with interest in the food and agro-allied industry, then you should participate in the second edition of FMN’s Prize for Innovation.

This year’s edition seeks innovative ways to develop and increase usage of local materials in the food industry, to meet local demands.
