European Leadership Academy Summer School for Female Leadership in the Digital Age 2023 (Fully-funded to Spain)

The Summer School for Female Leadership in the Digital Age in 2023 is officially taking applications, according to the European Leadership Academy. Spain will host the Summer School this year from June 25 to June 30 June as a part of their larger educational project “Seeds for the Future,” in conjunction with Huawei.

The Summer School demonstrates Huawei’s commitment to expanding digital inclusiveness by providing young women with the skills they need to take the lead in our digital future. It also offers a top-notch leadership curriculum. It is an inclusive and egalitarian vision that supports the European Commission’s goal of a gender-equal Europe by 2025.

The programme offers an unforgettable week which enables participants to explore the intersection
between technology, politics and economics. It includes a strong equality component and covers
everything from coding and cybersecurity to sustainability and personal wellness, with participants taught
and mentored by world-class leaders from across the EU and beyond.
Over the course of six days in Spain they will:

  • explore the meaning and value of sustainable leadership with world-class leaders
  • learn from internationally renowned mentors who will inspire them to embrace new
    challenges
  • understand the importance of technology in an increasingly interconnected world
    develop teamwork skills during collaborative projects
  • practice confidence-boosting public speaking techniques
  • enjoy time exploring Spain: its culture, cuisine, nature and technology sce

Benefits:

Each successful participant will receive a full bursary covering all travel and expenses associated with the
School.

Eligibility:

The forthcoming Summer School will offer a place to 29 young women – one from each EU Member State
and one from both the Western Balkans 6 and Ukraine. They will be selected by a distinguished jury
composed of business executives, policymakers, professors and equality advocates.
