École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne Summer Fellowship 2023

Deadline: 4th of December, 2022 (AOE)

The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Summer Fellowship application period for 2023 is currently open. International students can apply for summer fellowships at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Working with eminent senior scientists, participants get the chance to pick up new skills and gain practical experience in their chosen subject. The purpose of participation in a research unit’s activities by fellowship winners is normally to assist in problem-solving for larger research projects. This frequently results in completing difficult programming or design tasks to support new ideas.

A summer fellowship at EPFL is a very inspiring learning opportunity in a competitive research environment. It’s also a terrific chance to get to know a new culture, to begin developing a network of contacts in Switzerland, and to be ready for a career working across borders! And last but not least, it is an opportunity to spend a few months in a location full with natural attractions and recreational activities.

Benefits:

Accepted students will receive a living allowance of CHF 1,600 per month (pro rata to the actual duration) and
a refund of travelling costs (2nd class train ticket or low-cost/economy airfare).

Eligibility:

Fellowships are awarded to students enrolled in BSc, BTech, MSc, MTech, or equivalent programmes in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
PhD students are not eligible.

Application:

Applications are received once a year. When you apply, you receive a mail with a link to upload three documents: a CV, your transcripts, and a letter of motivation.
