DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) 2024 (Fully Funded Scholarships)

The DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scholarships for the academic years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 are now accepting applications from individuals from developing nations who wish to study in Germany. Foreign students from developing and recently industrialized nations are eligible to apply for DAAD EPOS Scholarships to study for a master’s or doctoral degree in Germany.

The DAAD supports the training of experts from developing and recently industrialized nations through its postgraduate study programs that are development-oriented. The sustained growth of their nations depends heavily on locally trained specialists who are connected to international partners.

Eligibility:

  • Who can apply?: Graduates with at least two years’ professional experience from the following countries: list of eligible countries
  • Eligible Courses: Individual scholarships exclusively for Postgraduate courses in Germany that are listed on the “List of all Postgraduate courses with application deadlines 2023/24”.

Scholarship:

  • Depending on academic level, monthly payments of 861 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates
  • Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover
  • Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.

Under certain circumstances, scholarship holders may receive the following additional benefits:

  • Monthly rent subsidy
  • Monthly allowance for accompanying members of family.
