African Union Summit on Industrialization and Economic Diversification Essay Contest 2022 for Young Africans

Deadline: 30th of September, 2022

A culture of sustainable development in Africa, with a specific emphasis on industrialization and innovation in Africa, is being promoted through the essay contest, which harnessed the enthusiasm, creativity, and initiative of African youth.

It also intends to motivate African society to take notes from the bright young brains and consider how each of them may influence the future of their continent. The essay competition will encourage leaders to reflect on and take action on challenges related to industrialization from the perspective of young people and push for urgent reforms.

The African Union Commission is holding the essay competition as part of its activities leading up to the next African Union Summit on Industrialization and Economic Diversification, which will take place in Niger in November 2022.
