African Scholarship at University of Oregon, USA 2023

Deadline: 15th of January 2023.

Scholarships of up to $5,000 each may be granted for each academic year to students who wish to pursue a degree program at the University of Oregon in the United States. The scholarships were established by Dr. John Haines, an ophthalmologist in Eugene with a particular interest in foreign students.
African students will be given precedence in the scholarship program, which is set up for new and continuing foreign students at the University of Oregon.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be new and continuing African students.
  • Applicants must meet the entry and academic requirements of the program they seek to join at the University of Oregon.
  • Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
    • TOEFL IBT – 88
    • IELTS –7.0

Application :

The students who want to be considered for the scholarship must first submit an online admission application. All eligible students will be considered upon applying.
