USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined Grant 2024

The African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined award is being offered by the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) in collaboration with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau.This is the second application cycle for this scholarship, and only candidates from the countries listed below are eligible to apply: Namibia, Mauritania, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia are among the countries represented.

To be considered, applicants must be woman-owned and managed, as well as 100% African-owned and managed; legally registered and functioning in the nation from where they apply, with basic functional management and financial controls in place for at least 3 years and a banking history of at least 12 months.

Eligibility:

  • Majority (OVER 50 percent)woman applicant-owned and managed –
  • 100 percent African owned
  • In operation and legally registered for at least three years
  • The business is located and operates in a designated USADF program country.
  • Successful UEI approval
  • Proposal for use of grant money
  • Business owners are not government employees.
  • Income generating entity (cannot be not for profit)

Application:

  • Ownership or Shareholder documents
  • Registration
  • Confirmation email of approved UEI from SAM.gov

All applications must be submitted by email to AWEP-R-Jan2024grantapps@usadf.gov no later than midnight on January 21, 2024.
