University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship 2023

The University of Dundee is giving African candidates scholarships of £5,000 each year of study, up to a maximum value of £25,000.

Scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships, and other forms of financial aid given by organizations or individuals other than the University of Derby are not covered by these Terms. The terms and eligibility requirements set by the external entity giving the funds or support may apply.

Living expense-covering scholarships will be paid in monthly installments into a UK bank account. The UoD is unable to transfer money to accounts located outside of the UK.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

  • Applicants must have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for September 2023, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Terms and Conditions for exclusions.
  • Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
  • Be currently residing in an African Country as highlighted in the country list (below).
  • Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Congo (Democratic Republic), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sudan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
