Tokyo Institute of Technology’s (Titech) International Graduate Program assists students in obtaining a master’s or doctorate degree by providing five distinct English-language-based programs pertaining to fourteen different departments. The International Graduate Curriculum offers two different curriculum types: the Master’s Program and the Integrated Doctoral Education Program. Eligibility:
- Applicants must belong to a country that is in diplomatic relations with Japan. Students who have Japanese nationality at the time of scholarship application are not eligible for this program.
- Applicants must have excellent academic results with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.30 out of 3.00 or above in their last degree program.
- Applicants must be 34 years old or younger as of April 1 of their first year of the MEXT Scholarship program.
- The applicant’s field of study must be the one in which they majored in their last degree or related field and should be the one in which they are able to do their research at Tokyo Tech.
- Applicants must have proficiency in the English language and meet the program’s English requirements.
- Applicants must be mentally and physically healthy to be able to pursue their studies in Japan.
- Applicants must be able to arrive in and leave for Japan within two weeks of the start date, which is late September 2024.
- Applicants must get a “student” visa and enter Japan with the visa status of “student.”
