You will work with product design engineers, regulatory engineers, quality engineers, and project leaders to drive the implementation of new products, Proof of concepts for new products for the life sciences, medical device, laboratory, diagnostic, and consumer product markets. As a Project Manager I – Intern.

Our internship program is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to gain practical knowledge of the various phases of the new product development cycle while utilizing various engineering principles and methodologies to develop solutions, new product development processes, and Program Management skills to improve your management skills.

You will gain valuable insight that can further your development within Program Management field. The candidate would have the opportunity to work with accomplished program leaders and participate in key Product Engineering initiatives. This opportunity will enable you to build your professional network within the company and opening doors for your longer-term career development by gaining exposure to different teams, processes, and leadership.

We are seeking an upbeat, responsible intern to join our growing organization. This role reports into one of the IEC Program Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the business benefits to be realized through project investment
  • Build project plans to establish a project schedule by collaborating with the team
  • Ensure the maintenance of project plans in terms of tracking, resource allocation
  • Interact with cross-functional teams and coordinate internal activities to ensure the delivery of project results on time
  • Lead/Facilitate/Participate in cross-functional teams
  • Progress report out to stakeholders

  • Demonstrates self-motivated, proactive and hard-working approach
  • Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Logical with good attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team and build strong working relationships
  • By example, promote a positive, professional and pro-active culture within the site.
  • Results-oriented and have a strong desire to get involved with day-to-day operations of the company

Qualifications:

  • MBA from a regionally accredited institution
