The Zukunftskolleg Konnect Fellowships 2024

Deadline: 15th of February, 2024.

Early-career researchers from Latin America, Africa, and Asia who do research that is relevant to one of the thirteen departments at the University of Konstanz are supported by the Zukunftskolleg Konnect Fellowships. You can maintain your position at home and use this time as a ZUKOnnect Fellow to expand your research networks and familiarize yourself with the University of Konstanz’s research environment. We particularly urge final-year PhD candidates to apply, since these scholarships can serve as a first step toward integration into the German and European academic systems. ZUKOnnect Fellows will not be offered job contracts by the Zukunftskolleg.

An Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) is the Zukunftskolleg. It encourages the independence of early-career researchers by providing fellowships and a wide range of support resources. Postdoctoral researchers can operate with few administrative restrictions and have the flexibility to interact meaningfully with both eminent senior academics and other emerging peers. World-renowned researchers in the natural, social, and humanities disciplines travel to Konstanz to conduct cutting-edge studies. One of Germany’s eleven universities of excellence, the Universität Konstanz, places great emphasis on the Zukunftskolleg as a cornerstone of its institutional strategy.
