This June, EnergyNet’s YES will return to Nairobi, Kenya! Last year, at the Africa Energy Forum in Brussels, the Youth Energy Summit was founded. YES is developing a platform and network for early career professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and educators to help a new generation of African energy leaders improve their skills, connections, and business preparedness.
The Youth Energy Summit (YES!) has lofty ambitions for accelerating access to dependable energy on the African continent; nevertheless, we cannot accomplish this alone. Our experience lies in bringing together the most powerful players in the energy sector to realize their business goals through events such as the Africa Energy Forum. We’re trying something new this time.
The challenge is not a competition, the challenge is not who will succeed first – the challenge is to electrify a continent & create the conditions for economic empowerment.
