The Sediba Developing Content Producers Programme is directed squarely at more experienced producers in cinema, television, and streaming who are ambitious and want to expand their skills and companies in the future. The first core component of the curriculum focuses on understanding the evolving Entertainment Value Chain, underlying rights and IP, copyright and long-term value of content, and the relevance of packaging content. The program’s core focus is on finance, worldwide streaming, and transaction conditions, as well as the ongoing relevance of risk management and successful working with sales and distribution. The final component focuses on worldwide festival and market positioning, launching, and effective methods.
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is a Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture body that was established to guarantee the fair development of South Africa’s film and video sector. The NFVF is happy to announce that the call for Sediba Developing Content Producers Programme submissions is now open.
