Robert Wood Johnson Healthy Eating Research Grant 2023

Deadline: 5th of April, 2023

A nationwide initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), Healthy Eating Research (HER), seeks to create a culture of health by finding practical methods for enhancing children’s diet and weight. The goal of HER is to promote dietary security and health equality while fostering study on ambient, systemic, and policy measures that encourage children to consume healthily. Building a vibrant, inclusive, interdisciplinary research base in the fields of healthy food availability, nutrition security, diet quality, and healthy weight are some of the objectives of the program. Another objective is to disseminate research results to hasten policy, system, and environmental changes. HER publishes calls for proposals (CFPs) to invite scientists from various fields and experiences to submit ideas that are rigorously scientific and goal-oriented.

Benefits

  • Awards will be made to organizations, not to individuals.
  • Preference will be given to applicants that are either public entities or nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not private foundations or Type III supporting organizations. Additional documentation may be required by Duke University.
