Orascom Construction Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program 2024

Orascom Construction launched the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship in 2000 as a private, merit-based initiative to promote excellence and success. Orascom Construction developed the Onsi Sawiris Program to spend firm resources in educational programs that benefit the areas where it operates.

This initiative establishes a precedent in Egypt for long-term private sector engagement in educational programs. The goal is to support young Egyptians’ academic growth and character building by providing them with the skills they need to advance in their careers, while improving their communities.

Since 2000, the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program has financed the educational dreams of 93 extraordinary students. Through the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship program, Orascom Construction provides full tuition scholarships for Egyptian students seeking to pursue their Degrees at prestigious universities in the United States with the aim of bolstering Egypt’s economic competitiveness.
