MISF Du Pré Grants 2023

Deadline: 30th June, 2023

The MSIF Du Pré Grant enables multiple sclerosis researchers and medical professionals from low- and middle-income countries to go abroad for brief stays (up to six months) at reputable MS research centers. For 2023, we are accepting proposals for regional or local projects to get around COVID-19’s travel limitations.

Details: Participants either develop skills or complete portions of cooperative research projects during the visit or virtual project. This encourages collaborative research and helps with MS patient care. We anticipate that recipients will continue MS research and/or clinical practice in low- and middle-income nations after receiving the grant by utilizing their newly acquired knowledge and networks.

A visit might last anywhere from two to six months. Each grant is up to a maximum of £6,000 GBP, to cover the cost of travel and living expenses or to top up an existing grant to extend a visit. *For 2023 we are more flexible on the use of funds if virtual or local projects are proposed, but this must be agreed upon in the project proposal.
