The Mega Impact-A-Thon is now accepting applications for Licensed Pharmacists in Nigeria.

The Mega Impact-A-Thon has been inaugurated as a commemorative initiative, marking twenty years of noteworthy contributions by Mega Lifesciences. This award is poised to spotlight the profound influence exerted by Pharmacists across all Nigerian states within their respective communities.

Distinguished entries will be vying for esteemed recognition through a cumulative Impact Grant prize amounting to N750,000. This recognition endeavour is poised to foster and fortify community-based advancements, thereby bolstering developmental strides within Nigeria. Moreover, it seeks to heighten cognizance regarding the pivotal significance of community development.

Benefits:

  • Category 1 – ₦350,000
  • Category 2 – ₦250,000
  • Category 3 – ₦150,000

Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to all licensed pharmacists in Nigeria with ten (10) years of experience and below.
  • Applicants must be working in the healthcare sector and engaged in a community impact project either physically or online. The competition is open to pharmacists and pharmacies across all pharmacy sub-sectors.
  • The entries should address a one-off or recurring community impact project in health and wellness, the motivation and impact including nos. The project must have been executed between August 2022 and August 2023

Application:

To participate, individuals must complete the online application form. The application requires each participant to provide a brief description of their community impact projects with evidence and a summary of objectives and motivation. The deadline for submissions is 22nd September 2023.

Stages:

Pre-selection Stage: In this stage, pharmacists submit applications via the application form. Applicants are required to provide information about their community impact projects including evidence, and social media handles, among other fields.

Accelerator Stage: Shortlisted pharmacists (50) will attend a 5-part mentoring session focused on mentoring and equipping young pharmacists with the tools needed to succeed. An internal jury will shortlist the fifty (50) semi-finalists.

Final Stage: The final three winners will be selected at a virtual pitch event
