The program, a signature project of the IGAD Executive Secretary, will provide financial assistance to 35 students who have been accepted into or are already enrolled in recognized universities in their home country or place of origin. The program aims to foster self-reliance and regional integration by providing future leaders with high-quality education and training.

  • Applicants must belong to a displacement-affected community, be citizens of an IGAD member state, and be admitted or enrolled in an accredited institution in the IGAD region.

  • Financial assistance covers tuition, accommodation, subsistence, and medical expenses, up to €3,189 per student per year.
