Holland Scholarship 2023/2024 for Bachelor’s or Master’s Study in the Netherlands (€5,000 grant)

For foreign students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands, applications for the Holland Scholarship are now available. Ready for the opportunity of a lifetime? Submit a Holland Scholarship application!

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as a number of Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, are funding this fellowship.

Scholarship Value:

The scholarship amounts to €5,000. You will receive this in the first year of your studies. Please note that
this is not a full-tuition scholarship.
The grant is awarded for 1 year and can only be received once.

Eligibility:

  • Your nationality is non-EEA.
  • You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at one of the participating
    Dutch higher education institutions.
  • You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on
    the website of the institution.
  • You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.

Application:

The application round for academic year 2023-2024 will open on 1 November 2022. The deadline for
application is either 1 February 2023 or 1 May 2023/1 June 2023. Please check the website of the
institution of your choice to confirm the correct deadline.
