Electrician Job at ALEF Technology – in Kabul, Afghanistan

  • Provide internal and exterior electrical and mechanical services
  • Using hand and power tools, assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Using test equipment and hand tools, diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to discover the source of a breakdown and rectify the problem.
  • Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, uninterruptible power supplies, stabilizers, or other components.
  • Examine electrical systems, equipment, and components for risks, flaws, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Use ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to test electrical systems and circuit continuity in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to guarantee system compatibility and safety.
  • Using hand and power tools, repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Connect power cords to equipment such as motors and install ground leads.
  • Install conduit (pipes or duct) within selected partitions, walls, or other hidden locations, and pull insulated wires or cables through the line to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Provide the firm with any electrical advice and services that are needed from time to time.
  • Routine chores like filter replacements, equipment cleaning, equipment monitoring, and other similar services are occasionally necessary.
  • Traveling inside Afghanistan as needed to meet the needs of clients and the organization.
  • Adhering to all company office rules and the general directives of the business’s board and directors from time to time.
  • Dust and grime removal from hardware (electrical components, air conditioners, and UPSs).
  • 7×24 Services: Participation in all three shifts (morning, afternoon, and night shifts)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduated from the Auto Mechanical Institute’s Electrical Section of the Institute of Energy and Water.
  • At least two years of relevant job experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, dependability, and ability to perform well under pressure
  • Solid communication and subordinate comprehension skills.
  • Solid understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Devoted, creative, timely, honest, and capable of making sound judgments.
  • Superior analytical and organizing abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ethics, and the capacity to operate with few resources.
  • Monitoring.
  • Proven computer abilities in MS Windows and MS Office applications.
