The Bulb is a platform for African creatives to turn tech ideas into business realities. We run accelerator programs, incubate entrepreneurs and provide training to help them launch, grow and sustain businesses.

The fellowship program offers a fulfilling experience for those looking to launch a career in tech. Fellowship at The Bulb is a 4–6-month training program for young tech enthusiasts across Africa. The fellowship program offers a fulfilling experience for those looking to launch a career in tech. Participants simply need to pick a course, join a cohort, complete projects and gain real experience by building products.

The six month fellowship will focus on;

  • Data Structures and Collections in #C
  • Object oriented programming
  • Asynchorus and IO programming
  • Generics, delegates, events and Iambdas
  • Language integrated Query (LINQ)
  • Automated testing with xUnit/NUnit
  • Database access with ADO.NET/EF Core
  • RESTful web services with ASP.NET Core MVC/Razor Pages
  • Securing applications with ASP.NET Core Identity

Eligibility

  • You must be a dedicated tech enthusiast
  • You are between the ages of 18 and 30
  • You must have a minimum of a university degree certificate
  • You must have an NYSC discharge certificate
  • You must have at least two guarantors, one relative and one non-relative

Oyin Olufayo is a Sustainable Development Goals Advocate. A recent graduate of The School of Politics, Policy, and Governance (SPPG) She is a Technical Writer, Political Writer, and a Content Writer. Her passion for sustainable development goals has been implemented by creating tangible solutions. She has featured in grassroots initiatives like TedX, World Literacy Foundation, Spur Nation Media, FRCN, Naija Law and etc. spreading the impact of Sustainable education, and also facilitated numerous events regarding SDGs.
