The US India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) is a dynamic non-profit industry association fostering collaboration between US and Indian companies. Committed to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations, USISPF facilitates investment and growth opportunities.

Seeking an Associate for our Climate, Energy, and Sustainability team at the USISPF Delhi Office. As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our policy initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and contributing to impactful events and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory and policy developments in the energy, climate, and sustainability sector.
  • Prepare comprehensive updates for members, including policy briefs and priority analyses.
  • Coordinate and execute virtual and in-person events with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and discussions.
  • Engage with member companies, establish relationships, and maintain multiple points of contact.
  • Curate and draft the monthly Energy, Climate, and Sustainability newsletter, highlighting policy updates, events, and member news.
  • Draft advocacy materials, including letters, presentations, press releases, and more.
  • Stay informed about portfolio developments through trade press, government websites, and relevant sources.
  • Assist with logistical tasks, such as updating databases, scheduling meetings, and creating promotional materials.

Eligibility:

  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in energy, sustainability, climate, or natural resources sectors.
  • Basic familiarity with India’s culture, politics, and business environment.
  • Prior advocacy experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Science, International Relations, Business, or Public Policy.
