Foreign students are now eligible to apply for the Amsterdam Merit Scholarships 2023/24. The scholarships are intended for non-EU/EEA students who aspire to join a degree program at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in the academic year 2023/2024.
The University of Amsterdam (UvA) seeks to recruit the brightest students from across the world to its worldwide classrooms. Exceptional students from countries other than the EU/EEA are eligible to apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS).
The Amsterdam Merit Scholarships is a yearly offer by the University of Amsterdam and targeted at high performing students from outside the EU/EEA countries. Scolarships are offered under the following faculties/graduate schools.
- Child Development and Education
- Economics and Business
- Social Sciences
Students who hold a non-EU/EEA passport and have applied for a degree programme at the University of Amsterdam may submit an application for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.
Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. Deadlines for the AMS differ per Faculty or Graduate School.
