In anticipation of the eagerly awaited Africa Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2023, which will be held at the magnificent Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, the African Internet Governance Forum Secreteriat is delighted to offer a warm welcome to all enthusiastic African youths. We are thrilled to announce the Call for Travel Support as we get ready for this historic occasion in order to encourage inclusive participation and provide prospective participants the opportunity to actively shape Internet governance in Africa in the future.
To guarantee a more diverse participation, the application procedure is made to ascertain your commitment to Internet governance, your prospective contributions to the forum, and your financial needs.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be African residents.
- Applicant must be a youth ( Persons between the ages of 15 and 35 years )
- Demonstrated interest in Internet governance, policy, or related fields.
- Clear explanation of how attending the Africa IGF will benefit both the applicant and the continent.
- Willingness to cover visa expenses independently.
Support Levels: We are pleased to offer two types of travel support:
- Full Support: This comprehensive support package includes travel, accommodation, and local transportation.
- Partial Support: This support package covers either travel or accommodation.
